"Do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life."
Join the NBWC crew this month at the new Kokako Roastery for a night of good food, good coffee and talks by three inspirational humans all doing business their own way.
DATE AND TIME
Wed 28 February 2018
7:00 PM – 10:00 PM NZDT
The Kokako Roastery
9 Charles St
While at different stages of their enterprise, all three businesses are centred around resources that have been sustainably and respectfully sourced from the earth.
You'll hear from:
- Mike Murphy, Managing Director of Kokako Organic Coffee Roasters
- Tama Toki, Founder of Aotea Tonics: Maori Wellness Tonics from Great Barrier Island
- Cam Sims, Founder of Plant Culture: Premium Hemp Seed Products
They’ll be sharing the story behind their business and how they have found commercial success while having a positive impact on the people and our planet.
As well as being inspired, we’ll enjoy Aotea Tonics, Hemp Seed snacks by Plant Culture and of course delicious Kokako coffee and dessert (hello decaf affogato) from the Good Karma Coffee Truck. Add in some live music and you have a night of epic, sober proportions!
Incl. in your tix: • Entry • Aotea Tonics • Fine & Dandy Tea • Good Karma Kokako Coffee • Healthy Snacks
Come along and see what we're about - a mindful drinking initiative aimed at shifting attitudes towards drinking and socializing. For members, this is a chance for you to meet, connect and share stories with like-minded people including others who are on the wagon with you. It is also an opportunity to put a face to the name of those in the Facebook Group! For non-members, this is an opportunity to hang out with people who are thriving alcohol-free or have chosen to give up for three months to a year. Who knows, you may even want to join us on the wagon!
